It seems Facebook has had enough of people using their platform for “alt-right” and “alt-left” political agendas.
According to news reports, public figures like Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopoulos, Laura Loomer, Paul Joseph Watson, Paul Nehlen and Louis Farrakhan have been BANNED from using the social media platform, along with other controversial accounts.
The company said they barred certain individuals from using Facebook and Instagram under Facebook’s policies against “dangerous individuals and organizations.”

A spokesperson for Facebook said,
“We’ve always banned individuals or organizations that promote or engage in violence and hate, regardless of ideology. The process for evaluating potential violators is extensive and it is what led us to our decision to remove these accounts today.”
The company admits its had a difficult time applying the rules consistently among the 2.7 billion people who use the service.
