Biden’s White House Helping to Distribute Free Crack Pipes

Under the Biden administration, you can’t seem to get baby formula for your newborn, unless, of course, you are an illegal immigrant. But here’s the good news…you will be given a safe smoking kit that includes a crack pipe.

This White House has embraced a $30 million safe smoking program and according to The Washington Free Beacon, at least some of the safe smoking kits include free crack pipes.

Jen Psaki, Biden’s White House press secretary, said in February that these safe smoking kits did not include free smoking paraphernalia. She insisted that crack pipes were never a part of the kits and any reports that they were inaccurate.

“A safe smoking kit may contain alcohol swabs, lip balm, [and] other materials to promote hygiene and reduce the transmission of diseases … like HIV and hepatitis,” Psaki said.

But recently, The Washington Free Beacon reported otherwise. They revealed that crack pipes are available in the safe smoking kits up and down the whole East Coast in cities that include Boston, New York City, Washington D. C., and Baltimore.

According to Patrick Hauf from the Free Beacon, he was able to get kits by going to Harm Reduction organizations. He said that the kits often vary from one organization to another, but all the places he visited made crack pipes available. Along with the pipes, he was also given paraphernalia that could be used for heroin, cocaine, and crystal methamphetamine readily available. These products were given without requiring or offering rehabilitation services.

Hauf also noted that all of the places that the Free Beacon visited were run by health-focused nonprofits and government agencies. These are the groups that can receive government funding from the Biden administration’s grant program.

Hauf said, “None of the organizations responded to inquiries about whether they applied for government grants. It is not clear which organizations will receive those grants, nor has the administration said how it will ensure the kits will not contain crack pipes. The Department of Health and Human Services, which will oversee the Biden grant program, declined to provide a list of groups that have applied for funding, citing ‘confidentiality.'”

One non-profit organization in Baltimore indicated that they provide harm reduction services with crack pipes. An employee boasted that they did not even require identification to receive a kit. In those kits, according to Hauf, there were glass crack pipes, Chore Boy copper mesh, and a cleaning product used to hold the crack rock at the end of the pipe.

“Most importantly, the organization provides all drug paraphernalia recipients an ‘Authorized Harm Reduction Program Participant Card’ that serves as a get-out-of-jail-free card to show to law enforcement, because the paraphernalia is otherwise illegal in the state of Maryland,” Hauf noted.

The Washington Free Beacon reported that this organization gets both local and state funding. It was reported that they receive at least $200,000 from billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations. And according to Hauf, the organization got $200,000 in government grants in 2019.

A Boston nonprofit employee said that their plan included one pipe per person once a day. And at New York City’s Lower East Side Harm Reduction Center an employee showed reporters a long menu of drug paraphernalia that users can receive for free.

Included on the menu was a ‘booty bump’ kit for rectal ingestion of narcotics, which is recommended by many harm reduction centers as a safer way to use meth,” Hauf wrote.

The Alliance for Positive Change oversees the harm reduction center. It has received at least $20 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services since 2004.

Not far from the White House, a harm reduction center in D.C. hands out a variety of pipes and mouthpieces without asking for identification. This center is known as HIPS – Honoring Individual Power and Strength. It has received $3.1 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

Let’s go back to the way we began…Tough to find baby formula, but easy to get crack pipes.
