For those on the political left, such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, hypocrisy is a near-constant. Oh, sure, they’d love for you to ignore all of their failings, believing them to be doing what is actually best for our nation and sacrificing their all in the service of American citizens everywhere.
But it’s really hard to do that when they are constantly making themselves out to be some kind of hero or another in one minute and then proving to us in the next that they are the very culprits who are supposedly making the world worse and more dangerous place.
And, as I mentioned above, Pelosi is one of the absolute best hypocrites out there.
Take, for instance, her insistence that we should be moving away from fossil fuels and towards greener and more renewable energy sources. Hell, she even throws her faith into the mix when making such claims.
If you’ll remember, after the Glasgow, Scotland, climate change summit last November, she said she was religiously motivated to make sure the environment was protected.
She said, “For me, it’s a religious thing. I believe this is God’s creation, and we have a moral obligation to be good stewards.”
Now I happen to agree with her on that point, this is God’s creation, as the Bible tells it, and as such, he instructed humankind to manage and take care of it.
But if I didn’t, Pelosi says I should at least agree with her that we should take of the Earth for the sake of our “future generations.” Again, I do agree. There won’t be a world left for our grandkids if we aren’t taking care of it now.
However, unlike the liberal congresswoman, I’ve done my research. I know that sustainable green energy sources on the scale that America will need if we are to forego fossil fuels aren’t viable right now. And so, we have to continue to use them.
I also know that for all the left’s squabbling about just how dangerous natural gas and oil are, science is beginning to paint a much different story about what or who we should be blaming for climate destruction, i.e., the sun.
But what’s even more disturbing is that Pelosi’s & Co’s insistence that fossil fuels are the bane of our existence is the knowledge that she only uses those claims when it suits her, you know, to gain political clout.
In reality, though, she’s one of the nation’s most egregious environment destroyers, according to recently released financial records.
In a series of Congress financial records acquired by Fox News, Pelosi’s political campaign spent over a whopping $437,000 between October 2020 and December 2021 on aviation bills to just one aviation team, Advanced Aviation Team based in Arlington, Virginia. During the same time, she also spent another $67,600 on flight bills to the Los Angeles-based Clay Lacy Aviation.
That’s about half of a million dollars spent on flights in just one year. And all for a woman who claims that airlines and the fuel they use are destroying God’s creation.
I might also point out that these are all private flights. This means that instead of riding coach, or even first class, on a commercial airplane or jet where the cost and fuel per flight would be split between tens of other individuals, she chose to once again make it all about herself.
While the rest of the country is condemned by her and others for flying and driving gas-guzzling vehicles, somehow Pelosi and her ilk think they are above it all. You know, just like how she thinks she doesn’t have to mask up or give up a hairstyling day just because pandemic laws say so.
No wonder we have such a hard time respecting her or believing a single word she says, especially when her and Biden’s demands to make America greener have cost thousands of Americans their jobs and livelihoods – and all while the economy is in dire straits and there is a massive supply chain crisis.
As I said, she is the epitome of hypocrisy…
