According to news reports, an all Sri Lanken domestic Islamic terror group called “National Thowfeek Jama’ath” murdered nearly 300 people and wounded another 500 in coordinated attacks at local churches, hotels, and even a housing complex over the weekend.
Many of those killed by these cowardly suicide bombers were attending Mass for Easter Sunday.
Yet, in a surprisingly (yet not so surprisingly) response, it seems the Democrats got together and carefully planned out responses to avoid identifying the victims as “CHRISTIANS” and instead called them “EASTER WORSHIPPERS.”
What EXACTLY is an “Easter Worshipper” anyway?
Whoa! This is more widespread than I thought😳
Dear Christian brothers and sisters, it seems the Democrats are in the process of renaming us to👉🏾 “Easter worshippers”.

Here are some of the responses by Democrats on Twitter:
Former President Barack Obama –
The attacks on tourists and Easter worshippers in Sri Lanka are an attack on humanity. On a day devoted to love, redemption, and renewal, we pray for the victims and stand with the people of Sri Lanka.

Here’s Hillary Clinton –
On this holy weekend for many faiths, we must stand united against hatred and violence. I’m praying for everyone affected by today’s horrific attacks on Easter worshippers and travelers in Sri Lanka.

Here’s Julian Castro, a 2020 Democratic Presidential hopeful –
On a day of redemption and hope, the evil of these attacks on Easter worshippers and tourists in Sri Lanka is deeply saddening. My prayers today are with the dead and injured, and their families. May we find grace.

And the list of liberals, calling the Sri Lanka suicide bombing victims by an Islamic terror group “Easter Worshippers,” goes on and on…
Many Republicans are calling the Democrats’ avoidance of identifying the victims as Christians as a political ploy. Their play on words to seems to be a political strategy in an attempt to downplay radical Islamic terrorism.
Let’s get one thing straight…
This was an attack on Christians. It was a coordinated attack on churches and hotels. It was an attack on Christianity.
No one worships Easter. There’s no such thing as “Easter Worshippers.”
Editor Opinion:
Democrats have chosen their words carefully. But most importantly, most have chosen NOT to use words that identify groups of people like “radical Islamic terrorists” or “Christians.”
What they’re failing to realize is the deadly consequences this can have on a society. If you can’t name your enemy, you can’t fight your enemy, which ultimately means you can’t beat your enemy.
How would you identify the Sri Lanka suicide bombing victims as? “Christians” or “Easter Worshippers?”
