Democrat Controlled House Forces Through $1.3 Trillion Socialist Spending Bill

( – Once again, radical Democrats have tried to make America a socialist country.

According to a new report released by The Hill, the Democrat-controlled House has just forced through a $1.3 trillion socialist spending bill that will blow taxpayer money on large government programs. The bill is so extreme, that the US Senate is expected to reject it and President Donald Trump has signaled that he intends to veto it.

Democrats Push For Socialism

The push toward Socialism/Communism – the political system used by the now-defunct Soviet Union, Red China, and North Korea, amongst other tyrannical governments – is alive and well in the halls of the United States Congress. Consider the likes of Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT) and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), both of whom proudly declare themselves as such, and both their popularity and the root problem begin to come into focus.

They couch their beliefs in words intended to tug at the heartstrings of Americans everywhere while, in truth, they are pushing wealth redistribution and buying themselves a voter base that relies upon them staying in power for all of life’s necessities. They’ve been doing this for more than a half-century, and they continue to do it, as evidenced by the bill they have just passed for 2021 funding.

Republicans in the House of Representatives such as Amy Granger (ranking member of the Appropriations Committee) of Texas and Dr. Greg Murphy of North Carolina have publicly published their objections. That is the only protest they have left because Democrats have a significant majority of seats in the chamber. They have both made sure to highlight the impact the Progressive Liberals had in this process.

Dr. Murphy chose to simply call a spade a spade and called it a “… socialist appropriations bill…” that works to the “… detriment of our children and grandchildren.” Granger, on the other hand, was more specific about what she sees as “fatal flaws that make it unacceptable,” such as:

  • Exceeding spending limits previously negotiated between President Donald Trump and the Congress.
  • Killing off the Authorizations for the Use of Military Force, which will allow terrorists worldwide more freedom to act.
  • Caving to the Leftist demands for defunding law enforcement agencies.
  • Scrapping a Trump Administration rule that protects the ability of healthcare providers to exercise their First Amendment rights to freedom of religion while performing their duties.

Not The First Time

As far as Bernie Sanders is concerned, this is hardly his first go-around at trying to change America into his version of a “worker’s paradise.” Just a week before this house vote, he made a move to insert an amendment to the Senate version of the spending bill which would have cut defense appropriations by 10% and redistributed the money to some of his favored programs.

Back in 2015-2016 when he was battling Hillary Clinton for the Democratic Party’s slot to run for president, he got the majority of his publicity for his idea of universal healthcare (a.k.a. Medicare-for-All), which he envisioned as single-payer, government-run health insurance. He estimated the program would cost approximately $30 trillion over ten years, meaning this one item, alone, would increase the yearly budget to just under double what it is now. And the way he would pay for it? Taxes — and a whole lot of them.

Ultimately, the elections coming up in November may be the most important in decades if not centuries. One path would have the country continue battling back against the policies of former President Barack Hussein Obama that pushed the United States so far to the left while the other could well be the one that will shove America into the abyss.
