Attorney General Bill Barr testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Capitol Hill this Wednesday. According to news reports, Democrats grilled the attorney general over how he handled the findings of the Mueller investigation.
His prepared remarks to the board were released earlier this week, and they didn’t sit well with Democrats, who are extremely disappointed the investigation didn’t lead to President Trump’s impeachment.
Barr’s opening remarks appeared to be a message directed to those Democrats obsessed with collusion-delusion. He stated,
“The responsibility of the Department of Justice, when it comes to law enforcement, is to determine whether crimes have been committed and to prosecute those crimes under the principles of federal prosecution. With the completion of the Special Counsel’s investigation and the resulting prosecutorial decisions, the Department’s work on this matter is at its end aside from completing the cases that have been referred to other offices.”
From here on, the exercise of responding and reacting to the report is a matter for the American people and the political process. As I am sure you agree, it is vitally important for the Department of Justice to stand apart from the political process and not to become an adjunct of it.
Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse Gets SCHOOLED by AG Barr, Even Laughs at Him.
During Barr’s testimony on Wednesday, many Democrats attempted to bully the attorney general – and he wasn’t having ANY of it.
One example was during an exchange with Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (RI) as the unhinged liberal ACTUALLY argued that it was UNFAIR to Trump to NOT indict him.
Here’s the exchange between Barr and Whitehouse on video:
Bill Barr doubles down on using the word “spying”:
Sen. Whitehouse: “It’s not [a commonly used word] by the department.”
Barr: “Well, it’s commonly used by me.”

Democrats, even with the evidence of NO COLLUSION in front of them, will NOT let this go. AG Barr is set to testify again in the near future.
